General Steward Training (DDU-GKY)
General Steward Training under
the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is a free,
industry-oriented skill development program designed for rural youth to build
careers in the hospitality and Food & Beverage (F&B) sector.
This short-term course (approx.
3 months) trains candidates in restaurant service, guest handling,
communication skills, and basic hospitality operations, along with On-the-Job
Training (OJT) for real industry exposure.
Eligibility: 10th
pass , age 17.5β35 years (relaxation as per norms)
Certification: Recognized by National Council for Vocational Training /
Sector Skill Councils
Placement: 100% placement assistance in hotels, restaurants, and
catering services
