GTAW Welding Course – DDU-GKY
The GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc
Welding) Course under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana
(DDU-GKY) is a free, industry-oriented training program designed to develop
skilled welders for the manufacturing, fabrication, and shipbuilding sectors.
This short-term course (approx. 3–4
months) provides hands-on training in TIG/GTAW welding, safety practices, and
industry standards, along with On-the-Job Training (OJT) for practical
exposure.
Eligibility: ITI in Welding , age 18–35 years
(relaxation as per norms)
Certification: Recognized by National Council for Vocational Training /
Sector Skill Councils
Placement: 100% placement assistance in shipyards, fabrication
units, and industrial sectors
